Horikita Maki will star in the Fuji TV special drama Kakashi (tentative title) scheduled to air in March

The drama is based on the eponymous 1977 hit song by Masashi Sada. The song is about a daughter who leaves her family to live in the city. For the sake of the drama, the family characters are based on a real family of udon makers that were featured in a documentary that was aired on Fuji TV. Masashi Sada will make an appearance in the drama. This drama was actually filmed last year, but the station will finally air it this year.
