OST Tune of the Day: This Old Heart of Mine - The Isley Brothers (featured in episode five of Hungry!)

…And the pitch perfect song choices keep coming. I thought episode five was a little too sentimental for my tastes, but it completely redeemed itself with the last few minutes of the episode bringing the series back to the Hungry I know and love. While the pace has been a little slow the last couple of weeks, the music has been continuously awesome. This song is a personal favorite of mine considering I grew up listening to this stuff (that makes me sound a lot older than I actually am) and I appreciate the fact that the people working on this series understand how much music sets the tone for a drama. Some people may be turned off by the Western music, but good music is good music and I’m glad that Hungry realizes that.
